While Arizona Republicans are running a bill that will make voting harder for all
Arizonans, Secretary Fontes worked with Democratic Leaders Senator Priya
Sundareshan and Representative Oscar De Los Santos to introduce the “Voters First
Act,” which will modernize, standardize, and prioritize the voting process for every
eligible voter in Arizona.

Call or email your Senator and Representative today to tell them to
vote no on SRC1001 and HCR2001 and that you want the “Voters First Act” (SB1262 &
HB2907) to have the consideration it deserves by using the following script:

Hello, my name is . I am a constituent in your district, and my zip code is _____.

I am calling to urge a no vote on SRC1001 and HCR2001 because they will make voting more difficult and provide voters with no real protection. Access and security are not mutually exclusive when it comes to running our elections, and I believe safeguarding our democracy means that we must do more to ensure both things.

Since no bill is really dead until session is over, I am urging you to support for the “Voters First Act” (SB1262 & HB2907) and asking you to tell Republican leadership in both chambers to give these bills fair hearings immediately. Thank you.
